About Us
WINGS, short for Women in God’s Service, is a fellowship group for the women of St. Paul Lutheran Church- Borchers in Seymour, Indiana.
We meet once a month to plan events and socialize in a friendly atmosphere. Meetings are typically on the third Thursday of the month in the Fellowship Hall. WINGS Fundraisers and Events
Walk tHIS Way
Our Annual 5 mile walk/run “Walk tHIS Way” is held the last Sunday in April. This is a fundraiser for our group’s current service project. In 2010 & 2011, funds went toward playground equipment in the church’s picnic woods.
Scoop of Faith
Our home-made ice cream contest “Scoop of Faith” is held in August at the Borchers Picnic Woods. Cooks are invited to bring a gallon of their own ice cream and have it “judged” by the community (the winner receives a trophy). WINGS serves a meal (free will donations) before the taste testing and free live music, games and activities throughout the event.

WINGS Ironman Fundraiser – Guess Nate’s Finishing Time!
Nate Otte will be competing in the Louisville Ironman on August 28th. This is a 140.6 mile
race; it includes a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run. The race starts
at 7 a.m. and athletes have until midnight to finish. Nate’s goal is to finish
